🎥 Premiere Screening | The 2026 independent film SOFOKLİS will be presented to audiences for the very first time at this event.
Organised by the EU Infopoint in cooperation with the HASDER Youth Club, the 17th Nicosia Youth Days once again brings youth together through culture, art and dialogue. As part of this year's programme, we invite you to a Film Screening & Discussion, featuring the independent film SOFOKLIS, based on true events.
The film tells the moving story of 87-year-old Sofoklis, who was forced to leave his homeland in the 1950s and, half a century later, hopes to return to his village.
Following the screening, a short discussion with the film's director, Evren Maner, will take place.
