The EU Infopoint officially opened its doors on April 30th 2015 with the participation of Walter Deffaa, Director General for Regional and Urban Policy Directorate General of the European Commission. The EU Infopoint aims to bring the Turkish Cypriot community closer to the European Union and it provides information on the EU legal and political order and the EU Aid Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community, in order to improve the public knowledge, awareness and the understanding of the European Union, its values, policies and programmes.
