With the support of the European Commission, the “Beach Clean-up and Recycling Workshop” event was held on 3 July Saturday at Güzelyalı Beach, Vasileia/Karşıyaka with the participation of several NGOs.

 

The event also marked that, as of 3 July 2021 as part of EU’s Directive on single-use plastics, the EU banned certain single-use plastic products, which are polluting our environment and seas, endangering marine life, and harming our health.
