Today, on 18 January, the first batch of the vaccines have been successfully delivered to the Turkish Cypriot community.
The vaccines to the Turkish Cypriot community will be provided from an overall allotment for Cyprus and the exact number is sufficient to cover the whole island. The supply will be gradual and will depend on the vaccines that will be authorised by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) over time. For the moment, the supplies are limited to the vaccines manufactured by BioNTech-Pfizer and those from Moderna.
