Music is one of the most popular forms of art, widely consumed, and a vibrant expression of Europe's cultural diversity. Strengthening this sector contributes to the promotion of cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue, culture as a catalyst for creativity, and European culture as a vital part of external relations.
In this vein, as part of the European Music Nights, European Commission organised a concert by Bicommunal Cyprus Chamber Orchestra on 6 July at Othello Castle. After the opening speeches by Ms.Pelin Maneoğlu and Nihat Ağdaç, spectators had an amusing summer evening with the melodies.
