The European Commission will support a “Diversity Festival” on Thursday, 21 March 2019 at Bedestan, Nicosia from 15:00 to 17:00 as part of European Action Week Against Racism. The event aims to bring together various cultural groups in order to celebrate cultural diversity within the Turkish Cypriot community. 
Akova Women’s Association, French Cultural Association, Refugee Rights Association, German Cultural Association, Journalists’ Association, East and South East Cultural Association, FOLKDER, Universal Patients’ Rights Association, KAYAD, Turkish Cypriot Human Rights Association and the Palestinian and African student groups will provide an opportunity for visitors to taste various international food and experience music and dance performances.
