European Week of Sport Began!

The European Week of Sport, which is celebrated in September every year, aims to promote sport and physical activities for all, regardless of age, sport background or fitness level. The European Week of Sport encourages large masses of people to exercise more in their daily lives and draws attention to the importance of sport in creating a more connected and healthier society with the #BeActive message.

Whether you are walking, running, climbing in mountains or cycling outdoors, take a selfie with a plant or tree that is attractive to you, upload it to your Facebook profile with #BeActive, #SelfTree and #EuropeanWeekOfSport2018 hashtags along with your message and let us share your photo on our Facebook page!

Photo Sharing Rules:

The SelfTree Photo Challenge organised by the EU Infopoint within the scope of European Week of Sport 2018, is not a competition, but is organised on social media to encourage community members to increase their physical activity and explore the environment and nature.

To participate in European Week of Sport 2018 SelfTree Photo Challenge, users are required to use the #BeActive, #SelfTree and #EuropeanWeekOfSport2018 hashtags in their posts.

The relevant posts must be open to public access in order to be evaluated and shared on the EU Infopoint Facebook page.

The shared photos must be appropriate for the theme to be taken into consideration.

Discriminatory and/or insulting photos about any language, blief, race, gender, ethnicity, political opinion etc. will not be taken into consideration.

Photos will not be taken in consideration in case of the presence of any person and/or any group of people who appear in the shared photos without permission.

Photos containing the advertisement element of any brand will not be evaluated.

Photos which are posted by the users between 26 September – 3 October, will be shared in collages created by the EU Infopoint on the EU Infopoint social media accounts in one or more posts.

The EU Infopoint will not be responsible for photos that are inaccessible due to various technical problems.

The EU Infopoint does not guarantee that all photos shared with relevant hashtags will be used in the EU Infopoint social media accounts.

Users who share their photos on their pages using the relevant hashtags are deemed to have accepted in advance the use of their photos in the collages to be created under the European Sport Week 2018 theme and shared in the EU Infopoint social media accounts.
